Hear their stories

The staff are just incredible. Before joining CCTS my daughter was shy and anxious, but through singing, dancing and acting her confidence grew and now she can't wait for her class each week!

Gemma

The quality of teaching, the care and attention given to each child is out of this world and at an affordable price which in this day and age is difficult to find. I will forever be thankful to Candice and her fabulous team.

Kelly

Our daughter might forget her school books, but the CCTS song-sheets are always in her bag ready to get out and practice at a moments notice. Last terms Disney show-tunes had the house practising Disney songs for months!

Mike

Candice and the team are not only nurturing, friendly and approachable but also provide the authority to ensure the children perform to their best abilities. Performing in the annual show is a real highlight of the year for my daughter.

Danielle

A very professional performing arts company. Both the holiday camps and after-school sessions are great and very well organised. Fantastic, upbeat and high energy staff. Highly recommended for boys and girls of all ages!

Katie

The staff are so supportive and are so flexible to make any adaptations to support a child’s needs. Their end of year production is a wonderful experience for all children and parents alike to be involved in.

Zoe

My daughter always comes back with a smile on her face. CCTS is not just a theatre school; it’s a community that celebrates and cultivates young talents in an environment that feels like home.

Lucia

The classes are fun, CCTS have helped me improve my confidence, make new friends and of course improve my skills. I find it so exciting to get dressed up into my costume and perform on the stage. I can’t wait for this years show!

Amelie, 9

Cobie has been a part of CCTS for the last year. It’s his favourite part of the week! He counts down from the moment his class finishes to the start of the next one.

Korin

Richard is just an amazing teacher! He has the perfect balance of calm and engagement, which reflects on my children's smiles after every lesson. Thank you for all your dedication and we love LAMDA at CCTS!

FAQs

What should my child bring?

Please ensure your child brings:

- A named bottle of water

- Appropriate dance shoes

- The correct uniform, which can be purchased via the link on our website. If you are attending a trial session only, please can your child wear a plain black t-shirt, plain black shorts/leggings, plain black trainers/plimsolls/school shoes

What should we wear to class?

To support high standards of technique and discipline, appropriate grooming and correct uniform are essential in all classes.

All students are required to wear the official CCTS uniform, which includes: CCTS theatre school t-shirt (compulsory)
Black leggings, black tracksuit bottoms or jazz pants
Black jazz shoes Uniform items can be ordered via our website:
https://www.printmybrands.com/ccts

Orders can be arranged for collection or delivery. Please note that only the CCTS t-shirt is a required purchase from us – other items may be sourced elsewhere, provided they meet the requirements.

For students trying out our club or those unsure about continuing for future terms, there is no pressure to purchase the full uniform straight away. Plain black alternatives are perfectly acceptable.

Can parents stay and watch?

We operate a no parent policy during regular classes to help children build confidence and independence.

However, parents will be invited to attend our end of term showcase. Please note that we may not hold a showcase every term, but we’ll always let families know in advance if one is planned.

Do I need to stay during the class?

There’s no need to wait. We have your emergency contact details, so feel free to run errands or enjoy some free time.

What is my child working towards?

We are excited to confirm that we’ll be performing at The Radlett Centre in July. All students will take part in one of three spectacular shows, showcasing their progress and talent.

Participation in the show is completely optional. Children are warmly welcome to join and continue classes across the Autumn, Spring or Summer terms whether or not they wish to perform in the show.

Do I need to complete a booking form?

Yes, please complete the online booking form prior to your child attending their first class. This ensures we have all the necessary contact and medical information on file.
