Information
Our musical theatre sessions are broken into three sections of singing, dancing and acting. Students will learn how to combine all three disciplines into their performances.
Singing
Technique - Students will be taught the correct way to utilise their breathing, voice control, pitch and tone.
Repertoire - Students have the chance to grow their repertoire.
Dancing
Technique - Students will engage in strengthening exercises, improving flexibility, corner work, dance technique and stretching.
Dance - Musical Theatre is a combination of dance styles that incorporate jazz, ballet and modern dance. Students will enjoy engaging opportunities to learn a variety of choreography.
Acting
Technique - Students will fine tune their projection, diction, improvisation skills, characterisation, direction, drama games and stage craft.
Acting - Utilising all the skills that they have been taught in technique to incorporate into their script work.

Early Years (Nursery/ Pre School and Reception) 3.00pm
KS1 (Year 1 - 2) 3.10pm
KS2 (Year 3 +) 3.20pm

The children will enjoy 45 minutes of singing, dancing and acting every day of camp. The sessions may be shortened slightly for our early years children so that they are able to enjoy story time, free play, quiet time and parachute games. Depending on the day the children will relish in either a 45 minute cooking or art activity. We also incorporate lots of games and extra special surprise activities throughout the day.

Tuesday and Thursday are arts and crafts days.
Wednesday is party day, where all the children and staff dress up.
We rotate special activities at lunch time each week, chocolate fountain, sweet shop stall, ice cream factory, glitter tattoo, face painter, disco etc...
Fridays are show day, we invite parents to watch the show at 2.30pm Please note that children are requested to wear black or dark clothing on a Friday.
Terms & Conditions
Once places have been paid for and reserved we cannot offer credit or refunds. Refunds cannot be made due to illness. By filling out the booking form and making payment you are agreeing to our cancellations policy, which can be viewed in full on our website.
Once camp has commenced, should anyone need to isolate then we will not be able to offer any refunds or exchanges.

Spaces are not confirmed until invoices have been paid.
All fees must be paid prior to classes commencing, failure to do so may incur an admin fee to your term fees.
If fees have not been paid after several email reminders once the term has commenced, you may incur a late payment fee of 2% per week of your termly fees for each week the fees remain unpaid.
Should classes not be able to continue or should you/your child not be able to attend class due to any ill health related reasons then unfortunately we will not be able to refund for any sessions lost.
Should we ourselves have to close the class for any reasons beyond our control then we shall use your remaining credit for all future classes including virtual classes should this be necessary.
Once committed and paid for a term then unfortunately we do not offer refunds as the space has been reserved for your child for the term. We do not offer refunds for trial sessions.
You are liable to pay for your child’s full term fees once committed to the class.
Getting There
Classes are held in the "Small Hall". (We recommend parking at the far end of the car park, as the entrance to the studio is just down the steps at the end of the car park) You will need to get a free parking ticket from the machine, that is located half way down the car park or alternatively you can use the parking app on your phone.
Unfortunately there is no onsite parking at this venue. We use the small studio at the end end of the cafe and a small studio locate upstairs.
We'll be in the portacabin. Parents will need to park on the main road as there is no onsite parking.

Do we need to bring a packed lunch?
You will need to bring a packed lunch (No nuts as we are a nut aware camp), the children will have the option of visiting our tuck shop.
What should my child wear?
Comfortable and appropriate clothes and shoes for dancing in.

Can I pay by childcare vouchers?
We are thrilled to accept childcare vouchers here at CCTC however, if choosing to pay by vouchers payment must be made and cleared a minimum of a week prior to camp commencing.
What do we need to bring to class?
Please bring a bottle of water, appropriate dance shoes and the correct uniform. You can purchase these from our shop.
What should we wear to class?
Appropriate grooming and correct uniform is essential to training the highest standards of technique within each dance style. Therefore, all students will be expected to purchase the correct uniform. All students must wear our theatre school t-shirt, black leggings, black tracksuit bottoms or Jazz pants and Jazz shoes. Uniform can be purchased from our online uniform shop. This can be delivered straight to your door.
Can parents stay and watch the classes?
We have a strict no parent policy, unless previously discussed or parents have been invited to attend our end of term showcase watching day. We feel it is important for students to gain independence in order for their confidence to grow.
Do I have to wait whilst the class is running?
There is no need to wait around unless you would like too, all venues have waiting areas. We have all emergency contact details to hand so please feel free to run errands, relax and have some time to yourself!
What will my child be working towards?
Here at CCTS we are proud to be able to offer our students multiple opportunities to perform. Including charity events, showcase watching days, promotional opportunities and our yearly Summer show at the Radlett Centre held in July. If your child attends our LAMDA sessions then they will take a yearly exam at LAMDA itself in order to reach the next grade.
Do I need to fill out a contact form before my child attends the class?
